JST's ZIM Connector is a 1.5mm pitch dual row Wire-to-Wire connector. This robust product is available with a broad range of features that include insertion lock mechanism, retainer mountable housings, strong lock release prevention mechanism.

Initially developed for cooking applications, this product offers a breadth of flexibility, making it ideal for device areas such as; Vending Machines, Factory Automation etc.

The ZIM Connector is available in 8 and 10 circuit variations, with a current rating of 2Amps, 100V AC/DC Voltage and operating temperature range of -25oC to +85oC.

Inertia lock mechanism

  • This mechanism prevents an incomplete mating and ensures a complete mating by utilizing the inertia force generated by mating action of socket housing lock and header. 

Retainer mountable type

  • The retainer feature ensures that the crimped contact has been inserted fully into the housing. It's a feature that aids the production/assembly process where it is not always easy to check that the crimped contact has ben inserted correctly into the housing.

Strong lock release prevention mechanism

  •  The housing has a locking feature that prevents accidental disconnection due to restricted wire routing or high environmental vibration.
